Coldplay's El Paso concerts: Ultimate guide for the 'Music of the Spheres' tour at Sun Bowl

Coldplay is bringing its 2025 tour to El Paso.

The British rock band, which rose to prominence with the release of its 2000 album "Parachutes," recently brought its 2025 "Music of the Spheres World Tour" to Stanford Stadium in California on May 31.

After stops in Las Vegas and Denver, Coldplay is set to hit the Borderland for a two-night stand at El Paso's Sun Bowl Stadium on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. In July, the band will travel overseas for a series of shows in Canada before returning to the United States for stops in Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Florida.

Since forming in 1997, Coldplay has become one of the most successful rock bands of all time. The band was the first to reach 90 million monthly listeners and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, cementing their status as one of the best-selling rock bands in history.

In addition to Coldplay's massive popularity, the band is actively involved in politics and philanthropy, donating 10% of its profits to charity.

What to expect at a Coldplay concert in El Paso

Coldplay has always been known for its explosive live performances, and the 2025 tour is no different.

Fans attending one of the "Music of the Spheres" shows can expect an opening performance from Ellyanna, a Palestinian-Chilean pop singer, and Willow, an American singer who is the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

At Stanford Stadium, Coldplay's performance featured signature LED bracelets synchronized with the music, along with vibrant light and fireworks displays.

Each performance is divided into four thematic sections: Planets, Moons, Stars, and Home.

And in typical Coldplay fashion, each performance has featured a plea for love, unity, tolerance, and understanding from lead singer Chris Martin, who has gone to great lengths to make this tour about more than just music.
