I aim to help you narrow your plays to get the most bang for your DFS buck. With the playoffs approaching their conclusion, we will only see single-game slates, leading to a slightly different look to the article. Think of this as more of a player pool with notes and a handy-dandy cheat sheet to help you take down tonight's showdown!

Top Captains
1) Evan Bouchard (Edmonton Oilers - $13,200 DK)
Given how he's played all series, Evan Bouchard should be considered the safest of all the Captain options in this game. He didn't explode in Game 4 like he did in the first three games of the series, but he still recorded five total shots on goal and had the opportunity to collect more had he not passed on shots from the top of the offensive zone to try to set up his teammates. Let's not forget that Bouchard had 24 shots through the first three games of this series and is always a threat for a multiple-assist game.
Connor McDavid gets the press, but it's Bouchard who drives the Edmonton offense. His opportunities will continue, and defenders tend to thrive against the Panthers (as evidenced by my sample lineup, where I put my money where my mouth is on that statement).
Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers - $15,900 DK)
While Bouchard is the safe option, it's Leon Draisaitl who can bring the upside. He has scored at least one goal in three of the four games in this series, taking exactly four shots on goal and scoring at least 19.5 DraftKings points in each of those games.
Edmonton is going to want to keep the pressure on Florida after their incredible Game 4 comeback, and Draisaitl is the team's main goal-scoring threat. Draisaitl is scoring-dependent, but if you want to maximize your scoring potential from the Captain spot, there's no player with a higher upside.
Calvin Pickard (Edmonton Oilers - $13,500 DK)
Stuart Skinner has allowed an average of four goals per game in this series, while Calvin Pickard has looked outstanding in relief for the past two games, saving 29 of 32 shots in just 33 minutes of ice time. There's no way that the Oilers can go back to Skinner, so I fully expect Pickard to get the start in this game. Hot goalies can single-handedly carry a team to a Stanley Cup title, and hot goalies often stay hot.
We know that Florida is going to take a lot of shots; volume won't be an issue for Pickard. All we have to worry about is whether he can continue to keep the puck out of the net. If he does, then it's not unreasonable to think that he could be the highest fantasy producer in this game.
Top Value Plays
1) Eetu Luostarinen (Florida Panthers - $4,800 DK)
Eetu Luostarinen has been quietly excellent so far this series. He's scored at least 7.8 DraftKings points in every game, scoring double-digit points in three of those games. The Oilers have done a good job of shutting down Florida's top line, but the Panthers' second and third lines have been strong.
The third line was excellent in the first two games in Edmonton, where the series resumes tonight. Despite his success, Luostarinen's price is still reasonable, and he fits in perfectly as your final flex play.
Connor Brown (Edmonton Oilers - $3,600 DK)
With Zach Hyman ruled out for the series, the Oilers have started Corey Perry in his place on the top line. However, Connor Brown has also been inserted into the lineup, playing alongside Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl as the coaching staff has shuffled the lines in-game. Brown hasn't done much with those minutes, but any time a player is on the ice with McDavid, he's in line for fantasy production.
At just $3,600, Brown is worth a flyer if you want to spend up on all your other spots, and even if he gets just two shots, he shouldn't kill your lineups. On the other hand, if he were to get more significant production, he'd catapult your lineup towards the top of tournament standings as he's not projected to be widely rostered.
3) Mattias Ekholm (Edmonton Oilers - $5,600 DK)
Edmonton's defenders have excelled against Florida in this series. While we're aware of how well Evan Bouchard has performed, Mattias Ekholm has quietly scored double-digit fantasy points in three out of four games. He has recorded at least four shots on goal in three games, with six or more in two games. He scored 22.7 fantasy points in Game 4, yet his price has dropped by $200. I'm going with a heavy-defender lineup, and Ekholm is going to be one of the three I include on my roster.
Flex Appeal
1) Darnell Nurse (Edmonton Oilers - $6,000 DK)
Jake Walman (Edmonton Oilers - $7,200 DK)
3) Brad Marchand (Florida Panthers - $7,800 DK)
4) Sam Reinhart (Florida Panthers - $9,400 DK)
I'm all over the Edmonton defenders in Game 5. We've seen Evan Bouchard, Mattias Ekholm, Jake Walman, and Darnell Nurse all exceed 20 DraftKings points at least once in this series, with all but Nurse doing it twice.
The Panthers have done a good job of limiting the Oilers' forwards, but the defenders have picked up the slack. I'm running out at least three of them in my lineup tonight to try to capitalize on the opportunities that Florida has given them.
Brad Marchand has looked excellent in this series, turning back the clock and playing like he did in the mid-2010s. He has four goals, 17 shots on goal, and has scored double-digit fantasy points in all four games of this series. You can use him as a one-off or as part of a mini-stack with Eetu Luostarinen or Anton Lundell.
Although Florida's top line has been held mostly in check, Sam Reinhart has found success all series. He's scored at least 11.4 DraftKings points in all four games, and over 26 fantasy points in each of the last two games. I won't stack the entire line, but Reinhart's upside is so high that he makes for a strong one-off play.
Additional Flex Plays : Matthew Tkachuk (FLA), Carter Verhaeghe (FLA), Anton Lundell (FLA), Connor McDavid (EDM), Corey Perry (EDM)
Top Fades
1) Aleksander Barkov (Edmonton Oilers - $8,200 DK)
2) Sergei Bobrovsky (Florida Panthers - $9,800 DK)
Aleksander Barkov has looked awful in this series, exceeding 10 fantasy points just once in four games. He scored a combined 11.4 DraftKings points in Games 1 and 2 in Edmonton, and whatever the Oilers have done to stunt his production appears to be working. I'd rather spend $400 more for Sam Bennett or $200 less for Carter Verhaeghe, both of whom have looked far better than Barkov.
Sergei Bobrovsky finally came back to Earth in Game 4, allowing five goals on 35 shots and scoring just 5.5 DraftKings points. He allowed four goals in both Games 1 and 2 and needed overtime to put up a respectable fantasy score. Edmonton has all the momentum in the world after their Game 4 comeback win, and I want no part of anyone who is trying to stop them from finishing the job after coming up just short last year.
