Behind the Chicken Wrap Wars, there are new Chicken Sandwich selections making peace at Chick-fil-A!
We're hearing from Chick-fil-A once again, as things have been quiet around the chain since they released their Peach Milkshake. Speaking of quiet, Chick-fil-A quietly introduced some major new items at select locations on their test menu. And when we say big, they're really big, as we've come to know the chain as the Home of the Original Chicken Sandwich!
That's right. These new test menu items are Chicken Sandwiches, since Chick-fil-A could never have too many of them! Along with its summer releases, some fans from Salt Lake City and Jacksonville, Florida, are lucky enough to be the first to taste these test Chicken Sandwiches now until July 19!
According to our foodie friends, fans from Salt Lake City will get to try the new Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich . There will be three available options: Original, Spicy, or Grilled. It features an original filet in a toasted buttermilk ranch bun. There's also pepper jack cheese, caramelized onion, and flavored candied bacon. The sandwich is also filled with your burger usuals like lettuce, tomato, and pickled jalapeños. There's also a bonus. Jalapeño Ranch Sauce to keep the jalapeño vibes going.
As for Jacksonville, Florida, fans can get the Creamy BBQ Chicken Sandwich selection in Original, Spicy, or Grilled. The Chicken Sandwich features an original filet on a toasted buttery bun with creamy BBQ slaw and sweet heat pickle chips. The sauce that will go along with it is the Creamy BBQ Sauce, which is perfect for dipping other Chick-fil-A selections.
If you're near any Chick-fil-A locations that serve these Chicken Sandwiches, don't miss your chance to try them out. Remember, fans from all over the U.S. are going to need your support for the chain to do a complete rollout of these test items.

What's New at Chick-fil-A?
The Home of The Original Chicken Sandwich isn't going to stop with just Chicken Sandwiches, and if you're a true Chick-fil-A fan, you should've known them by now! Since the summer season is right around the corner, let's start with the news on the refreshments.
In case you didn't know, Chick-fil-A just extended the promotion. Pineapple Dragonfruit beverage lineup's stay on the menu until August 16, 2025. Well, since you loved how the chain combined sweet, juicy pineapples with dragonfruit, these four drink options are extending their stay:
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade – A combination of lemonade (or diet lemonade) with the brand's signature Icedream dessert. It is also mixed with natural dragon fruit and pineapple flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade – A blend of classic lemonade (or diet lemonade) with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea – A combination of iced tea made from freshly brewed tea leaves with pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy - A combination of Chick-fil-A's Sunjoy, which is lemonade + freshly brewed sweetened iced tea, with natural dragonfruit and pineapple flavors.
Aside from the fruity beverages, Chick-fil-A is also serving their Peach Milkshake as they brought it back for the summer. It features their signature Icedream dessert with peach puree and whipped cream on top. For an even sweeter ending, there's a cherry placed on top.
More Test Menu Items on Watch
Months ago, Chick-fil-A rolled out their new Icedream treats called the Icedream Spin and Icedream Floats They were part of the limited-time test menu items in Chicago, San Diego, and Tampa, Florida, and were served until April 12, 2025.
The new Icedream treats were different in terms of texture, as the Icedream Spin features a creamy and handspun treat with your choice of fountain beverage to go along with it. Meanwhile, the Icedream Float is just like your traditional float, made with your choice of drink plus a swirl of Icedream.
While these treats sound exciting, we need to wait for Chick-fil-A's official announcement on whether they'll roll out these Icedream treats for a nationwide release. But if you really want to try them now, then you could try one of their regular milkshakes as an alternative. Frosted Soda Well, they're off-menu items, but a lot of locations have been offering them, and it wouldn't hurt to try and ask your local Chick-fil-A. It features a hand-spun combination of Icedream plus your choice of soda.

What's New in The Food Scene?
While we all know about the Chicken Wrap Wars There's more food news going on between McDonald's, Popeye, and Taco Bell that we've scooped around the block. If you're craving a good salad, then Chicken Salad Chick Chicken Salad Chick has the perfect treat for you. They recently debuted their new Maui Mama for summer. It features a punchy blend of sweet pineapple, bacon, and a kick of jalapeño. You have the option to get the Maui Mama in a scoop, sandwich, or take it to go, as they're packaged in Quick Chicks. Note that they're available until the end of July only, so head over to your nearest Chicken Salad Chick.
But if you and your friends are up for a trip, then catch Cheba Hut as they blaze into Mansfield, Texas. They're opening their 15th location in the state, specifically located at 2301 E. Broad St., Bldg. 100, Suite 141 on June 23, 2025. Why? Well, the store has a mural created by Joshua Finley which features the legendary R. Crumb!
An Upgraded Chicken Sandwich at Culver's
Since we talked about Chick-fil-A's new test items, we couldn't leave Culver's out of the conversation. Culver's a makeover. upgrade , and fans can finally taste them by June 16, 2025. The revamp of Culver's Chicken Sandwich features an improved chicken filet, tomato, crisp lettuce, crunchier pickles, and the all-new toasted brioche bun.
To celebrate the launch of Culver's upgraded Chicken Sandwiches, they're giving away a complimentary Chicken Sandwich to the first 100 customers at each of the chain's 1000 locations. The offer will be available on June 16, as customers could choose from Crispy Grilled and Spicy Crispy.

Chick-fil-A , or should I say, the Home of the Original Chicken Sandwich, is kicking off with their test menu items of Chicken Sandwiches. I'm seriously eyeing the Creamy BBQ Chicken Sandwich as I'm a fan of anything smoky and creamy. I'm jealous that Jacksonville could get a taste. Oh well, I guess I would have to wait for a nationwide release while I enjoy a Chicken Wrap in the meantime.
